Anzac Day 2024
Anzac Day commemorates the landing of Australian and New Zealand troops at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War I. It is a public holiday in all Australian states and territories.
Public Holidays 2024 to 2025
The Holiday Act introduced an additional public holiday in 2011. The public holidays for Anzac Day and Waitangi Day are moved to the following Monday if they fall on a Saturday.
