Hades II Now Available
Hades II, the sequel to the critically acclaimed roguelike from Supergiant Games, is now available for purchase on PC via Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game is priced at $29.99 and is still in development, but it already feels impossibly huge and unbelievably polished by any standard, much less an early access game. The Hades 2 roadmap already has a few upcoming features for future updates in place, including a new weapon and region, but there are no definitive release dates for when those updates will be released.
Changes to the Original
While Hades II is a direct sequel to the original game, there are some big changes. The most noticeable change is the setting. Hades II takes place in a completely new world, the Underworld, which is ruled by the god of the dead, Hades. The other change is the gameplay. Hades II is still a roguelike, but it has been redesigned from the ground up. The game now features a new combat system, new weapons, and new enemies. Additionally, the game's story has been expanded, and there are now more characters to interact with.
